Virtual Gallery from Bristol, England. Curated by Groock, George Thom
Groock’s Gallery resides in a converted temple. A piece of digital archaeology as a site for cyber-mythological practice. The structure is an amalgamation of archetypical historical Western and Eastern designs found via hacked internet searches.
Groock’s Gallery is believed to be run by aliens, or may in fact be an alien themself.
Groock’s Gallery is a contemporary participatory mythology, its virtual horizons stretch to virtual infinity, however it is an extremely fragile place, yet also has the potential to spread like a virus.
We at Groock’s Gallery believe in the power, freedom and diversity of art and want to allow the inclusivity of artists from multiple backgrounds, so this is why we want to keep the project free of charge.
We exhibit work of all types that can be displayed in the virtual space.
