3 dolls houses curated by Eldi Dundee, London UK
Small House Gallery is a mini contemporary art curation project for a group of dolls houses, founded in 2016 by Eldi Dundee.
Two of the houses (Small Houses One & Two) are based in South London, and the third (Small House Cottage) has been travelling around the UK of late. It’s currently at Turntable Gallery, Grimsby, where it’s going to stay for a while to be co-curated between Eldi, Dale Wells and Darren Neaves.
Small House Gallery exhibits mainly solo shows by early to mid career artists, showing original small scale contemporary sculpture, micro-installation, painting, photography, print, video, digital animation, drawing, sound installation and conceptual work. Occasionally an artist will take over multiple houses, or two to three artists will occupy different houses simultaneously with their own solo shows, but we’re trying to move away from showing more than one artist per month. The houses sometimes tour to other art spaces (eg. Small House Cottage is currently at Turntable Gallery in Grimsby for the foreseeable future).
